Lynda's doctor was a wonderful Christian Jamacian man.  When he came out to give me the news that the surgery was successful, I told him that I and many others had been praying for him.  He was visibly and vocally moved.  It's probably pretty sobering to be digging around inside someone's gut and to know that a slip of the hand could mean serious injury or death.  I think he liked hearing that he wasn't alone in there.
