It looks like the tradition has passed a generation because Sunday night Pam invited us over for fudge and cheese ball and -- you guessed it -- a tree decorating party!  This time had a new twist though because the heavy lifters were Adam and Trey.  They hung most of the decorations ... all in a group about 12 inches in diameter.  When they would turn their backs, Grandma would snitch one of their decorations and hang it somewhere else on the tree.  After a while that 12 inch circle could sustain no more ornaments, How switch effexor paquil, so Trey sat on my shoulders and hung them up high while I leaned into the tree.  Great fun, good memories.

A tradition we used to witness in Khatoum that always inspired me was the Christmas Day march by the Christians in the city.  They would assemble at one place, all put on white smocks with a large red cross on it and then march to the cathedral.  It was something of a silent witness and celebration in a context that was often not friendly to their testimony ... but they would do it year after year.
