Will effexor xr get me high, Two of my least favorite things in all the world are root canals and budget meetings. Tomorrow morning I get to have both of those, effexor recommended doses. This morning we went to visit Mom.  It is the first time I have seen her since the stroke on Easter Sunday.  She's still recovering from the exertions of the move, so she's pretty wiped out.  But I was so pleased that she recognized me and we had a brief and totally coherent conversation.  Actually since I only got a few hours of sleep last night, I'm pretty sure she was more coherent than me!

But she's frail.  She drifts in and out.  Her strength is depleted.  One of the staff, a really sweet gal named Lisa, effexor alternatives, came to talk to us about Mom's likes, hobbies and interests so that they will know what sorts of things they should talk to her about.  (I thought that was totally cool.)  As we started listing things, it struck me that Mom has really embraced life.  Her interests are wide and varied.  She has been a lifelong learner, always stretching her mind and knowledge.  She's been a God follower and a discipler.  She's incredibly creative.

Looking at her as we talked to Lisa, listening to her talk (sometimes randomly), seeing sparks of connection, Effexor xr review, I was hit by how in her current state, Mom, who loved life and looked forward to heaven, is somehow stuck straddling heaven's gate.  She's in a position where she is able to truly enjoy neither.  What a tough place to be.  And yet during all this time since the stroke, she has not complained or grumbled.  What a truly amazing woman.

Effexor similar, For a couple decades we had fairly small U.S. Independence Day celebrations.  I seems a little ethnocentric to be celebrating your country's Independence Day when you are living in places that have limited to no independence.  Kind of like taking the local citizenries noses and rubbing their face in the stink of political bondage.

America's finest, the Peace Corps, would show up in force.  They were mostly young men and women from all over the States who were posted in some pretty lonely places.  They are paid servant's wages, so this was their chance to get together with there comrades and get drunk on the Ambassadors beer.  Three cheers for the USA ... Seriously, even with the warts that the USA has developed, it is a great country.  Every four years we witness that in our national elections.  Having been through national elections in other places, it is still an amazing thing to me that in this country of 270 million, we can pull this thing off peacefully and with limited corruption.

You have to live where political freedom is not available to enjoy this kind of liberty.  I remember the first national election we went through in Sudan.  It was pretty unusual.  There was only one party allowed, so guess who was going to win!?  For the top job, only one candidate.  Yet they really tired to get people to register to vote.  We were living in Riwoto at the time where there were about 50,000 people but probably less than 1k who would vote, effexor similar.
